From Firewire

Introducing Dan Mann's balanced fin template, the Firewire Manncave Fin Set.

Designed to be versatile in various wave types and board types, the Manncave is a balanced or neutral template that sits between the rake and pivot worlds. This is Dan's go-to fin that he uses to test all of his new shapes from grovelers up to long guns - it's the variable he keeps constant during R&D. For Dan, a good fin template makes sense for both drive down-the-line and pocket maneuvers, and the foil has to be perfect (foiled both front to back but also base to tip).

This fin set is constructed from a traditional fiberglass layup, offering a familiar and welcoming flex pattern underfoot, closer to glass-ons.

Single Tab variants are compatible with Futures' fin system.

Wave Type

This is an all-around template that is extremely versatile when it comes to both waves types and boards - Dan rides these in everything from grovelers to step up guns, and all types of wave conditions, for drive down-the-line and tight pocket maneuvers.

Fin Features

This template has been Dan's go-to fin set for testing new shapes - it's his performance baseline, the variable he keeps constant. A balanced template in between the raked and pivot worlds offering tons of hold and drive, and works great as both Thruster and Quad. It's traditional fiberglass layup construction provides a familiar and welcoming flex pattern underfoot, close to glass-ons.

The Quad trailers are an 80/20 foil and a bit more pivoty in design, and the Thruster is a medium size version of the front fins, meant for drive and easy release.
